Describe the day, not the label
“Business trip” can describe very different activities. Write down who will do what, where, for whom and for how long. Meetings, training and hands-on technical services should be identified separately.
Make contractual facts visible
Prepare a concise account of the employer, host business, relevant contract and payment arrangements. These facts allow the appropriate professional to review the activity in its real context.
Review before plans become commitments
Build time for assessment into the travel process. A short stay does not by itself establish permission to carry out an activity. Confirm the applicable requirements before booking a fixed work schedule.
General planning information. Individual circumstances and current destination requirements require separate professional assessment.
