Our group relationship

Specialist mobility.
A broader purpose.

WG Global is a subsidiary of Magellan Global. Our role is to bring global mobility and compliance coordination into clearly scoped corporate, family and talent engagements.

Magellan Global × WG Global

Connected ambitions.
Defined responsibilities.

Magellan Global coordinates integrated client programmes. WG Global provides the mobility perspective: the destination, actual activity, application preparation, appropriate professional input and ongoing obligations.

Clients can engage WG directly through Corporate, Private or Signature. Participation in another group programme is not a prerequisite.

Programme mobility & compliance

Supporting the mobility
dimension of GSRP.

The Global Successor Residency Program connects successor development with structured learning, practical projects and cross-cultural experience. This page explains how WG’s mobility expertise can support programme-related international activity.

Global Successor
Residency Program

GSRP brings together structured learning, practical projects and cross-cultural experience. Where a programme calls for international activity, WG can coordinate a separate, fact-based mobility assessment and the work agreed around it.

What “Residency” means here

In this programme name, residency refers to immersive professional development. GSRP itself does not confer immigration status or work authorisation. Learning or experience in one destination does not guarantee access to another.

Programme design, learning delivery and overall programme management remain with Magellan Global and the relevant delivery partners. WG’s role is separately scoped.

The mobility framework in detail

Two stations. Three returns.
One principle.

Where a Magellan programme involves international activity, WG applies the same framework it applies to every client: the real-work principle, the two-station model and the three-return assessment.

The real-work principle

Every participant holds a genuine role with a genuine employer, directed by that employer, with documented deliverables. Training is professional development in proportion. This is what authorities test and what builds capability.

First and second stations

A first station in the home market, Tokyo, Singapore or Hong Kong builds knowledge and cognition and creates the qualifying record; a second station in North America or elsewhere converts it into durable opportunity. A written decision point at twelve months chooses the route and the exit.

Three returns

Each route is assessed for the knowledge it adds, the cognitive capability it develops and the institutional opportunity it opens for the participant and the family. The programme guides on this site carry that analysis for every route.

GSRP does not confer immigration status or work authorisation. Each status application is a separate, fact-based assessment under the law of the destination, prepared with qualified counsel. Fees for WG services are never tied to an immigration outcome.

A clear coordination process

From programme goals
to a mobility workstream.

  1. Define the activityMagellan clarifies the intended learning, project, location and participant objectives.
  2. Assess the factsWG reviews the actual activity, host entity, employer responsibilities and information gaps with the appropriate professionals.
  3. Agree the workThe client confirms the mobility scope, fees, responsibilities and permission for any necessary information sharing.
  4. Coordinate and maintainWG coordinates agreed documents, applications and later changes; Magellan continues to manage the wider programme.

Programme participation, learning delivery and immigration permissions are separate decisions. Each mobility engagement has its own scope and professional responsibilities. Personal information is shared only for the agreed purpose and through the appropriate process.
