COMPASS and Employment Pass renewal: the points framework employers must plan around
COMPASS is the second stage of Employment Pass eligibility. After a candidate clears the age-adjusted qualifying salary, the application is scored on four foundational criteria and two bonus criteria and must reach 40 points. Two of the four criteria depend on the employer's workforce rather than the candidate, so an employer's hiring record shapes every EP it files and every EP it renews.
